Watch this hand I played in the 888pl $1200 buy in Main Event. He's raising the flop to 'protect' his set from a flush. Had I flat the raise instead of shoving & the board paired on the turn now he's not afraid of the flush any more I'm sure he would check & try to get some value on the river where I can actually fold. My mistake was thinking of charging him the maximum to book up but I knew since he wasn't folding no matter what, I should have taken a safer option & waited to see if the turn & river cards don't help him then go all in if he hasn't already done so as I'm pretty sure he's not folding his hand even if it didn't improve by the river.
