I thought we'd try something a little different today and do an exercise.
Here's a pretty typical tricky hand at a cash game. For the sake of this exercise we'll say that both players' read on each other is that they are pretty solid, each capable of bluffing, but not excessively, and they're not likely to get any information from live reads. The third player in the hand has both players covered and his preflop range is unpredictable but he's weak-tight post-flop.
Did AA play their hand reasonably? Why or why not?
Did 66 play their hand reasonably? Why or why not?
Should AA be betting on that flop?
Should AA be playing more, or less aggressively because the board fell with two draws / possible made straight?
After AA has made that bet, can he ever be folding to that raise?
