Gross. I wasn’t checking for pot control, I was checking because I thought I was so far ahead and didn’t want to lose him. He was betting every pot when checked to, so on river I was putting him on a flush draw and wanted him to bet. He would’ve also value bet hands like J8 and J7 here, he’s not the type to check back rivers when he has showdown value with 1 or 2 pair like most players would. I just got unlucky I guess. I’m never folding river.
